Meditation: The Magical solution to all problems.

"In the same way, rain breaks into a house with bad roofs, desire breaks into the mind that has not been practicing meditation" -Meditation quote

Everyone in the modern world is passing through a caliber of stress, dejection, solicitousness, and tension. The caliber depends on person to person. Modern lifestyles of seeking more relaxation, an insalubrious diet, an insalubrious environment, and the nescience of exercises lead to stress and ultimately to dejection. There is a popular saying that abaft every quandary(problem) there's a solution. And the foremost solution of all quandaries, of the modern world from stress to exorbitant corpulence, solitude to indolence is rumination.

So, what is meditation?
When you're not doing anything at all, bodily, mentally on no level, when all activities are ceased and you simply are just being yourself that is meditation. One cannot do or practice it but can only understand it through mental peace and calmness. In a most general sense, meditation is a way of taking control of the mind so that it becomes more focused and peaceful and the meditator becomes more aware of the surrounding. Meditation is also a way toward liberation, awakening, and inner peace.

What are the types of meditation?
There are various ways of understanding meditation according to different meditators. There are six types of meditation that are popular. They are:
1. Mindfulness meditation: Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we are doing, letting negative thoughts to go away, slowing down the breathing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by anything that's happening around us.
2. Spiritual meditation: It's similar to prayer in that we reflect on the silence around us and seek a deeper connection with our God or Universe. Essential oils are commonly used to heighten the spiritual experience.
3. Focused meditation: People who want to try meditation to get rid of stress, anxiety, depression, hypertension, distraction, loss of concentration, it is the best tool for them. This meditation style helps people to focus on a certain object, sound, or sensation rather than to achieve a clear mind without a focal point.
4.  Movement meditation: Meditating while moving, to release physical tension, and to flow blood circulation being more aware and breathing long purposeful breath with focusing on the surrounding objects.
5. Mantra meditation:  It is a type of meditation in which people chant a special word or syllable as a mantra to focus. It helps to collect distract energy and aid in concentration.
6. Transcendental meditationTranscendence, involves no concentration, control, or training by chanting mantras. (It is counter-productive to try to force the mind to go somewhere it already wants to go naturally!)
TM allows the mind to go beyond surface-level thinking towards silence (the source of thought) and concentration, focus, and control as well as freedom and creativity are the spontaneous results.

How to meditate properly?
Different types of meditation have different ways to perform and understand meditation. Meditation in general sense process of focusing all attention on own by controlling the breath. It seems funny to hear that meditation is controlling of breathing. Controlling breathe means not to stop breathing but to take deep purposeful breathe and exhale slowly by feeling and concentrating on the breath. Although controlling and feeling breathing is a part of meditation, there are several other steps before performing meditation. Some common processes are:
1. Set up your mind for meditation
2. Wear comfortable clothes
3. Find a peaceful environment
4. Fix a time goal
5. Sit in the correct posture( if you have any injury find support such as if you have back problems find a chair or pillow or if you have leg problems straightened them but if not any injury then the best position is to sit upright with cross leg)
6. Hands should be in dhyana mudra ( either on lap placing one above other touching two thumb tips  or on knee touching thumb and forefinger)
7. Start focusing and breathing ( you can chant or make humming om sound along on each exhale without being distracted)
8. Think positively and get rid of all negativity filled in minds( it will be tough at the beginning but become easier with practice)
9. Continue this for 15 to 20 minutes ( for a beginner it will be tough )
